The idea behind Best Before was born in 2014. Our parent company, Flexolahti, has almost 30 years of experience in the packaging industry and in 2012 had already begun using 3D visualisation to check packaging layouts before production. But a nice design is not enough, if the shoppers don’t notice it on the shelf – and if we don’t know what captures the shoppers’ attention, how can we improve the design? Thus, began the search for a suitable method.
In 2017 we combined our methods and forces with two Finnish research agencies, Makery and Package Testing & Research, and founded Sense ‘N’ Insight. Sense ‘N’ Insight’s research concept measures all critical shopper touch points in store, the value of the package and the sensory experience, to make sure that your package gives your product an opportunity to be successful.
